Maggie Garbino was born in Rosario, Argentina, but she was raised in Jamaica, and (she)spent many years of her life in USA where she acquired an important musical and artitistic background. Since a little girl she studied music, ballet, voice and theatre.

In Argentina, she has been , among others,  studying classical technique under the great Maestro Sergio Tulián coaching. Her trend to the genres R&B, soul, jazz, funk, Bossa Nova, made her seek new oportunities to study and develop in USA.

In 1994, she was awarded an scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston,in vocal performance.

In 1997 she moved to Los Angeles (California) where she worked as a sessionist singer  in  recording productions  with Kenny O´brien, for diferent producers,  among them , the great Mexican composer Armando Manzanero.

In addition she continued improving her vocal studies, taking vocal lessons with important vocal coaches as SETH RIGGS (Mickael Jackson, Natalie Cole,etc) ROGER LOVE , UCLA (Scorpions, Earth,Wind&Fire,etc) and DOC HOLLIDAY (Toni Braxton). In Buenos Aires she often sings jazz  with various trios, quartets, featuring prestigious local musicians. She also performed with the BUENOS AIRES BIG BAND, directed by A.
